A world of punctuations

Monsieur Yves “Bringhurst” Peters just wrote a very good overview, full of details about all theses small signs around letters. I’m using this reference to Robert Bringhurst, simply because Yves prose was nice to read as Robert prose was when his fabulous The Elements of Typographic Style was published in 1992 (don’t miss the The Elements of Typographic Style Applied to the Web version).

A world of small details noted by Yves Peters:

Note that InDesign automatically replaces regular quotation marks with guillemets when your text is set to one of these languages in the Control panel or Character panel. It won’t change quotes already there, but it will convert them as you type or copy/paste.
